What this site collects
- There are no forms on this site. You can't send me data through it, so I don't store any.
- There are no file uploads.
- There are no cookies and no ad trackers, so there's no cookie banner.
- The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites and doesn't identify you. I see totals: page views, which pages, rough country, browser type and the site that sent you.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each request (your IP address, the page, your browser) to serve the page and keep the site safe. I don't get a list of visitors.
The live bits on the home page
The weather, the song and what I'm building come from small functions on Cloudflare. They call Open-Meteo, Spotify and GitHub from the server, so your browser never talks to those services and your IP address never reaches them.
Stuff that stays in your browser
The salary calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you pick is saved or sent anywhere.
Third parties
Links to LinkedIn, GuruLink, Lineup and the salary data sources take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
If you have a question about any of this, message me on LinkedIn.
